things that are happening I'm happily working part time at Arcadia Knitting where I'm surrounded by yarn and knitting. It's a knitter's dream, really, and I'm steadily getting better at helping customers with yarn related emergencies (both the kind involving not enough yarn and what to do with the copious amounts of yarn they currently have.) I am still performing with my burlesque group, The Belmont Burlesque Revue. The cast is full of great people and we have oodles of fun shaking our money makers. You can catch us at our next regularly scheduled Revue on August 26th at the Playground Theater. Also, tune in to NBC's "America's Got Talent" on August 2nd to catch my good friend Michelle L'Amour competing for the finals at 7pm CST. She's making burlesque history by performing on this show, and we're all really proud of her, whether or not she wins. But we want her to win, so Punch POW! and vote for her, people. I turned 31 in June. Cripes. I've got a wishlist if you want to buy me a present. |
