Megan Pedersen is a Chicago based performer, podcaster and game designer. She is a host of Cinema Supercollider, a podcast about movies and the people that make them, as well as serving as one of the core hosts of the Jank Cast, a podcast focused on topics in gaming, RPG actual plays and interviews with industry leaders. Megan has also been featured on other gaming podcasts, including One Shot Podcast and the Indie+ channel, and has been a panelist for ValorCon. Megan is one of the owners of Wheel Tree Press, an indie RPG and tabletop game design company. She designs all sorts of games including Greenlight, Time Cellist, Sparkle Baby! and PANE and has collaborated on playsets for Bully Pulpit Games‘ smash-hit, Fiasco.
Megan has been involved in a wide variety of ways in the Chicago performing arts community since 1998. She is the founder and executive producer of Full Deck Productions, a small independent arts company which has produced several original theatrical shows and the indie film showcase, Twirly, seen on CAN – Channel 19. In addition to her tantalizing teasing as part of the burlesque scene, Megan has also performed and produced improv comedy at venues around the city of Chicago including the Playground Theater and ImprovOlympic.
Under her stage name, Paris Green, Megan was a key figure in the establishment of the neo burlesque movement in Chicago. She is the creator and former director of the critically acclaimed burlesque troupe, The Belmont Burlesque Revue, and currently co-produces the geek-themed burlesque show, The Glitter Guild. She fell in love with burlesque when she saw her first striptease as a wee lass in the windswept fields of Kansas and has been finding creative ways to take her clothes off ever since. Megan has performed with Hot & Heavy Burlesque, Varietease Cabaret, Vaudezilla Productions, The New American Review, Burley-Q: The Burlesque Sexperience! and the Late Night Late Show and has made special appearances for the Howard Brown Health Center and the Gay Games. One of the founding producers of the Windy City Burlesque Festival, she was a featured performer at the festival in 2014. Megan has served as an expert on burlesque for syndicated radio host and columnist Dr. Laura Berman, the KC Stage, the Daily Northwestern and many other fine publications.
